Expectation on IM

The topics we are interested which are also covered in IM course are crisis management, interculture communication and conflict resolution and corporate socail responsibility.

Aside from the mentioned topics, there are some other IM related issue we are very much interested in. For example, since U.S is strongly urging the appreciation of RMB, we would like to know the impact of it around the globe like who would be beneficiary and sufferer of such advocacy. We would like to know if Hong Kong's status as financial hub would be adversely affected.

With the advent of globalization, free flow of information and advanced technology, it is more and more easier for people to copy the ideas of others. Hence, intellectual property right under the impact of globalization is another realm we would like to explore in IM course.

Myth

Global competition create a similar way of doing business??

It is always a contorversial issue to the convergent or the divergent of business practice under the globalization. Some people believe that globalization make the business adopting the similar business strategy whilst other think that the business strategy remain fundementally different.
